1. Call to Order

  • Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM by President John Doe.

2. Approval of Previous Minutes

  • Previous meeting minutes from April 19, 2024, were read aloud by Secretary Alice Davis.

  • Motion to approve minutes by Jane Smith, seconded by Bob Johnson. Minutes approved unanimously.

3. Treasurer’s Report

  • Bob Johnson presented the treasurer’s report, stating that the HOA’s current balance is $23.42, up from $22.18 last month due to a mysterious deposit from an anonymous donor.

4. Old Business

  • Swimming Pool Repair: The pool is still filled with Jell-O from the April Fool’s prank. Removal efforts are ongoing. Bob suggested a community Jell-O wrestling event to utilize the situation creatively.

5. New Business

  • Parking Regulations: Discussion on implementing new parking regulations to prevent residents from parking their UFOs in the designated pet unicorn zones. A committee was formed to draft new guidelines.

  • Pet Costume Parade: Proposal for a pet costume parade on July 4th. Costumes must adhere to the theme "Mythical Creatures of the Everglades." The winner will receive a year's supply of organic swamp water.

6. Open Forum

  • Resident Concerns:

    • Mrs. Appleby raised a concern about the mysterious midnight chanting heard near the gazebo. John Doe assured it’s just the local book club’s new dramatic reading of “Wuthering Heights.”

    • Mr. Thompson suggested installing a trampoline park in the community garden. A feasibility study will be conducted.
